# Recruit100x API > Recruit100x runs AI first-round screening interviews for recruiting teams. API v1 creates roles, invites candidates and returns evidence-linked reports and webhooks; a person always makes the hiring decision. Authenticate with an agency API key (`Authorization: Bearer r100x_…`). Test keys run every route against fake objects without email or credits. API v1 only grows; breaking changes get a new version and at least 6 months' notice. ## Docs - [Recruit100x API v1](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/index.md): Plug Recruit100x into how you already hire: create roles, invite candidates and get evidence-linked screening reports back in your own system. - [Quickstart](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/quickstart.md): Create a test key, create a role, listen for events, invite a candidate and simulate a finished interview — in about 10 minutes, without sending a real email or using a credit. - [Authentication and scopes](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/authentication.md): Every call sends an agency API key as a bearer token; each key carries the scopes it was created with. - [Test mode](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/test-mode.md): Test keys run the whole API against realistic fake roles, invites and reports: no email, no text, no credits, and never a live object. - [Roles](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/roles.md): Create a role from a job description (text or a link), follow its interview guide to approval, and set its open screening link. - [Invites](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/invites.md): Invite up to 100 candidates per request, choose who delivers the link, and read, re-link or cancel each invite. - [Open screening link](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/open-link.md): One public link per role to paste into a job post, an auto-reply or an applicant email — no code and no account needed. - [Email-in](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/email-in.md): Forward applicant emails to a role's own address and Recruit100x invites the candidates — no code. - [Reports and decisions](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/reports.md): Read evidence-linked screening reports and the decisions your team records — a person always decides. - [Webhooks](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/webhooks.md): Every event Recruit100x can send, its schema and sample, how deliveries are signed and retried, and how to test them. - [MCP — Recruit100x in AI apps](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/mcp.md): Use Recruit100x from ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps through its MCP server: roles, screening, reports and decisions, with a person always deciding. - [Errors](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/errors.md): Every error code the Recruit100x API answers, what it means and what to do about it. - [Rate limits and idempotency](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/rate-limits.md): How many requests a key may send, and how to retry writes safely with an Idempotency-Key. - [Versioning and deprecation](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/versioning.md): API v1 only grows: fields and endpoints are added, never renamed or removed. Breaking changes get a new version and at least 6 months' notice. - [Data, privacy and compliance](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/data-privacy.md): What Recruit100x does with candidate data, where it screens, and the notices and presets it applies. ## Machine-readable - [OpenAPI 3.1](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/openapi.json): every API v1 operation, its scopes and error codes - [Webhook schema 2026-11-01](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/webhooks.2026-11-01.schema.json): every event of payload version 2026-11-01 - [Webhook schema 2026-09-01](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/webhooks.2026-09-01.schema.json): the frozen original payloads ## Optional - [Zapier and Make](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/zapier-make.md): Connect Recruit100x to thousands of apps without code, through the same API and webhooks. - [Changelog](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/changelog.md): What changed in the Recruit100x API, newest first. - [Status and support](https://www.recruit100x.com/developers/support.md): Where to report a problem and what to send with it.
